Japan pension fund plans 1% crypto allocation in FY2026(reddit.com)
## Except from article. The reported allocation is not being framed as a short-term bet on crypto prices. CoinPost said the main goal is currency risk diversification. The fund’s fiscal 2025 asset mix stood at 80% yen, 15% dollars and 5% other currencies. For fiscal 2026, the fund plans to cut yen exposure to 70% and add a 10% allocation to developed-market currencies. Another 5% would include emerging-market currencies, gold and crypto. Aiyu Kiguchi, the fund’s investment executive director, reportedly said the dollar “may lose its status as a reserve currency,” explaining why the fund did not raise dollar holdings. submitted by /u/zesushv [link] [Kommentare]
BNB Chain opens applications for EASY Residency Season 4 with $500K funding and a Bhutan base camp(reddit.com)
TL;DR: YZi Labs has kicked off Easy Residency Season 4 with dedicated support for builders on BNB Chain, expanding its builder residency program with more funding, mentorship, technical support, and access to the wider ecosystem. The idea: instead of just handing out grants, YZi Labs and BNB Chain is helping teams build, iterate, and grow alongside experienced founders and ecosystem partners. The takeaway is that YZi Labs and BNB Chain is continuing to invest in attracting and retaining builders, giving early-stage projects a clearer path from idea to launch with hands-on support rather than just capital. submitted by /u/FTXACCOUNTANT [link] [Kommentare]
What missing feature would make a crypto screener perfect for you?(reddit.com)
I was always asked by my cousins and friends to build a screenr based on there statergies and i used to built it using python, but whenever they feel like changing the statergy they used to come back to me asking me to update the code , which was little annoying at times ,So i decided to build a app that they can use and build their statergies for screening by just selecting indicators from the dropdown.I have already built that and published it. Now i am planning to improve it even further so i am am try to add new features to it , so I want to understand what features you fell that if this feature is available in a crypto screener i might use it almost daily. What premium/paid feature on other tools do you wish someone would just make for free?. Please share your thoughts , I will try to build on those ideas and improve my app , also I would like to know do you prefer to use the app on Windows, mac, iphone or android submitted by /u/SituationBoth7745 [link] [Kommentare]

Why I spent the afternoon mining a crypto you can't buy(reddit.com)
I'm pretty tired of the usual crypto talk sometimes, the charts, the hype, and the scams. It feels like the actual tech got lost under a mountain of speculation. But I just read a great article by a writer named Patrick about a project called BrowserCoin and it's a breath of fresh air. Link to his write-up: https://complexsimplicity.substack.com/p/you-cannot-buy-this-no-matter-how TLDR: No Money: You literally cannot buy or sell this coin. There is no price, no exchange, and no presale. It exists just to show you how a blockchain works. Anyone Can Do It: You don't need a massive mining rig. You just open a web browser tab and your computer starts mining blocks. Learn the Mechanics: Patrick writes that once you watch the machine run with your own hands, nobody can fool you with a crypto scam again. You get to see what decentralization actually means without someone trying to sell you something. If you want to remember what made this tech interesting before the money ruined it, give his piece a read or take a run at mining some on your browser. It won't make you a dime, but it's a neat experiment. The feeling of hitting a block felt pretty darn cool. submitted by /u/Fienx [link] [Kommentare]
