Introducing Earnboard: Rewarding Campaign Infrastructure for Web3 Communities(reddit.com)
Hello everyone! I’d like to introduce Earnboard, a new platform where Web3 and crypto projects can launch rewarding campaigns that activate and reward their communities. Projects can create campaigns with a prize pool, define social and community tasks, review user submissions, track campaign points and leaderboards, and distribute rewards through five models, including raffles and proportional distributions. Projects can review submissions themselves or use Earnboard’s Managed Review service. The full campaign prize pool goes to the community. For users, Earnboard offers a place to discover projects, complete campaigns tasks, submit their posts, earn campaign points, build their Earnboard Points ranking, and receive rewards for the engagements they create for projects. We also provide Creator Guides and smaller Earnboard Tasks so users can learn about the platform and participate while waiting for project campaigns. Earnboard is still new and small, and we want to be transparent: we do not have active partner campaigns yet. We are currently looking for our first projects interested in launching rewarding campaigns. Meanwhile, users are welcome to register, explore the platform, complete Earnboard Tasks, and become familiar with how everything works. Projects can also use our automated demo environment to create a test campaign and experience the complete flow in approximately seven minutes, without real funds or real users. Earnboard also has a mascot called PEEP. Since PEEP became part of the platform’s identity, we decided to give him a contract address and turn him into a memecoin too. However, PEEP is an additional community element, not Earnboard’s primary product or objective. The platform’s main purpose remains providing reliable campaign and reward infrastructure for projects and their communities. We invite users, creators, community members, and Web3 projects to explore Earnboard and grow with us from the beginning. I don't want to break the rules here, so not posting links, but you can find us under the 'earnboard' username on X! Thanks! Thank you for giving us the space to introduce Earnboard. submitted by /u/cryptohiddengems [link] [Kommentare]
Non-custodial swaps as a privacy tool — what I've learned comparing protocols(reddit.com)
Been researching privacy-preserving ways to move between cryptocurrencies (specifically XMR to other assets) without going through KYC exchanges, and wanted to share findings since this comes up a lot here. Why this matters for privacy: Centralized exchanges link your identity to every transaction through KYC. Once you've verified your identity on an exchange, every coin that touches that account is now associated with you permanently in their records — even years later if there's a data breach or subpoena. Non-custodial cross-chain swap protocols avoid this entirely. You never create an account, never submit ID, and the protocol never takes custody of your funds — it just facilitates a direct wallet-to-wallet swap. Protocols worth knowing about: THORChain — Fully decentralized, no KYC by design. Supports XMR directly which is rare. Has occasionally paused trading for security audits, worth checking status before large swaps. Chainflip — Similar non-custodial model, faster settlement, but currently does not support XMR directly (mainly BTC/ETH/SOL pairs). Tokensfund > I built this so people will be able to compare both in one place. A privacy consideration people miss: even with non-custodial swaps, the destination address you provide is visible on-chain. If privacy is the goal, sending to a fresh address (not one already linked to your identity) matters more than which protocol you use. One real limitation: none of these protocols are anonymous by default — they're non-custodial, which is different. XMR's privacy comes from Monero's own protocol design (ring signatures, stealth addresses), not from the swap mechanism. Swapping into XMR via THORChain doesn't retroactively anonymize your BTC, for example. Curious if others here have audited these protocols' actual privacy guarantees more rigorously, or if there are better alternatives I'm missing for XMR-specific routes. submitted by /u/b4basit [link] [Kommentare]
Hawk ◎ is now live on the Chrome Web Store.(reddit.com)
Hawk extension has passed review and published on Chrome Web Store Now anyone can do a one-click install. What is Hawk ◎ ? Traders stare at charts for hours. That screen space is some of the most-watched real estate in crypto. So I turned the dead zone under your chart into an ad marketplace. Advertisers bid for ads. You keep 50% in USDC. gethawk.xyz submitted by /u/Fearless_Run4 [link] [Kommentare]
Help or not help(reddit.com)
Ok guys, first of all don’t insult me because first of all I don’t know what to do either. I have a very hang relationship with my father we don’t talk much.. he has another family. Lately he’s making himself heard and a few days ago I went to see him. After a while we talked, he came up with an (old) tablet with coinmarketapp installed (application that I don’t know, I use Coinbase and in the past I used plus500 and etoro (I live in Italy) however he shows me that he has several bitcoins in his account.. From there starts a story of a friend of his who around 2008/09/10 makes him invest 1000€ but a few years ago he died and he doesn’t know what to do at all. Through chatgpg I read that coinmarketApp is not a virtual wallet but more of a tracker if I understood correctly. I didn’t find any button to make a withdrawal or transfer to another wallet. He also tells me that several times they call him saying that he has to move money to unlock everything that. It seems like a scam to me. What can I do? I know it seems like a made-up story but it’s reality. Thanks in advance to all submitted by /u/Current-Violinist-19 [link] [Kommentare]
HyperFund promoter Bitcoin Rodney admits role in $1.8B crypto fraud(reddit.com)
> Except from article. Federal prosecutors said Burton participated in the operation between June 2020 and January 2022 and received at least $7.8 million from the scheme. Court documents state that Burton controlled several companies that purported to offer consulting services while helping market HyperFund to investors. Prosecutors alleged he used investor funds for personal enrichment during his involvement with the platform. Federal authorities have scheduled Burton’s sentencing for July 23. He faces a maximum prison term of five years for conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money-transmitting business. submitted by /u/zesushv [link] [Kommentare]
Coinbase just froze my account after a 100k USDT deposit. WTF?(reddit.com)
Coinbase has decided to freeze my account and withhold $300k+ of my personal funds for absolutely NO clear reason. I’ve been using this account for 4+ years without issues, completed full verification long ago and used the platform normally the entire time. I have made more than 7figure transactions over the time with absolutely no problem at all. A few days ago, my account suddenly became restricted after depositing USDT and I was asked for additional verification, source of funds information, and documents despite already meeting the requirements for the account limits and activity levels. I wanted some funds in my bank so I swapped some XMR from my Cake wallet to USDT directly into my Coinbase address-before you ask, I have done this a dozen times- then boom, account frozen, source of funds required. What am I supposed to say the source of funds is yet I have had the monero held in my Cake wallets for years. I currently cannot withdraw or fully access my own funds while the review is ongoing. Support responses have been slow and unclear, and I’m looking for transparency and a timeline for resolution. Has anyone else dealt with something similar on Coinbase? submitted by /u/klandreneau [link] [Kommentare]
