I recently came across Pi Network and their push toward building an ecosystem for Al-created apps through Pi App Studio. They are trying to attract "vibe coders" (developers using Al tools like Replit, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) to deploy apps into the Pi ecosystem. The idea is that developers can: build apps with Al tools integrate them into Pi App Studio reach a claimed 60M+ user base use Pi for payments, identity, and distribution It's interesting to see crypto projects shifting from speculation toward app ecosystems and real utility. I'm curious what developers think - could Pi actually become a useful distribution layer for Al apps, or is this just marketing? submitted by /u/Longjumping-Meet3953 [link] [Kommentare]
I like to follow generative AI, one of the big communities and providers made this announcement yesterday: What's happening Yesterday we were told our primary data center is retracting support for us and switching their capacity over to crypto mining. Effective today. We got less than 48 hours of notice. That is the bulk of the GPUs we use to serve open source model generation. Losing them on this kind of timeline is about as abrupt as it gets. We have spent every hour since scrambling for replacement GPUs and a new data center. The catch: the same mining fever that took our capacity has gobbled up most of the spare GPUs on the market. It appears that at least some of the data centre capacity that was serving generative AI customers, is now ditching their clients (who are paying very well) to now mine crypto once again. Naturally this is speculation - but to me this is a clear signal that it is once again accumulation time. If data centres that are getting plenty of money are dropping clients at short notice to mine, they believe that more profit is to be made with crypto. Sure, this could be a bad business decision, but given the current timeline I think that the worst is over and the next year is a serious opportunity to build up again. Edit: since people apparently are incapable of using a search engine anymore - here is the source. civitai.com/articles/30980 imgur.com/KZJgP6r.png Holy shit this sub is dumb. submitted by /u/-Baloo [link] [Kommentare]
Article highlights. The European Central Bank is gearing up to hike interest rates twice this year, a move that would mark a sharp reversal from the easing trajectory markets had grown comfortable with. A Bloomberg economist survey conducted between May 4-7, 2026, shows the consensus now expects 25 basis point increases in both June and September, lifting the deposit facility rate from 2.00% to 2.50%. That’s not what most forecasters were calling for just weeks ago. Earlier predictions had penciled in only a single hike for the year. But surging energy prices, driven by ongoing conflict in Iran, have pushed euro-area inflation to an estimated 2.9% to 3%, well above the ECB’s 2% target. submitted by /u/zesushv [link] [Kommentare]
i used to spend like 3-4 hours a day watching charts and i still kept making emotional decisions. missed entries, panic sold, the whole thing. at some point i just asked myself why i was doing this to myself when there are automated systems that literally don't sleep or panic. curious if others have made the switch and what pushed you to finally do it. submitted by /u/Separate-Okra-4611 [link] [Kommentare]
Im down like 65% now and my portfolio exists off 30 percent SOL%, 23% LINK, 22% ETH only 16% BTC and 8 percent in BONK (only down 30%). Im wondering if its time to cut some losses and move it all into BTC sinds a long bear is probably ahead and altcoins are to unpredictable. BTC is at a good price to do this but these alts have bled a lot more relative to BTC. Im really doubting what to do here because doing this will make recovery to break even way harder but I plan to lump sum at 45000 to almost double portfolio. BTC price needed would go down from ~$170000 to ~117000. Would you stay in the alts at this point or convert I have done my personal research but am at a loss here submitted by /u/Friendly-Direction42 [link] [Kommentare]
I am a 21 year old trans man living in an abusive family in a restrictive country in Asia and I need money to move out. Crypto is the only way I can do so because - my parents are the kind of people who wouldnt allow me to get a job before finishing college. My parents forcibly ask me to show them my balance of my local bank but they don't know about my crypto bank. - there are no shelters if things between my parents escalate. - International banks like PayPal don't allow people in my country to open bank accounts. Bank accounts in my country can't transfer internationally so I had to resort to crypto. Sadly, I struggle to get commissions and I currently haven't gotten one yet. Most art subreddits don't allow people to use crypto as a payment so I had to resort to cryptocurrency only subreddits but I fail to get their attention. I tried using Bsky, deviantart, Discord and Tumblr to advertise my commissions but no one has paid me. I am planning to use that crypto from my commissions to convert it to fiat money for my escape. I need advice. submitted by /u/Carrotsandcucumbers [link] [Kommentare]
Edit: I should have started with- if you invest in crypto, haven’t sold yet, and think your crypto isn’t dead…. (Edit: you know how many down votes I got sharing a thesis on RKLB when trading below 4.50? Same when i bought OXY below 44$ and sold for over 35%, same with target under 90, sold above 115. HIVE AT 2.50 sold above 4.50. Getting downvoted is actually a qualitative indicator at this point) It’s this simple. Decide if you believe in the future of any investment. Hopefully you do this before you enter. Seems like not everyone does this. So do it now. Decide if you see a future. Make up your mind. What other’s say can’t change it. They can share ideas that you need to assess and research, but don’t just listen to the noise. You will get lost in other people’s confusion and doubt. I believe a few specific cryptocurrencies will be much higher someday. I do not know or care when. I also imagined price going down by 75%. I decided I would buy. I decided to buy back in below ——. After selling with over 3x profit, I bought back in at ——, add, and dca no matter what price does. Tank it. I want more cheaper. I can sit on paper losses until Ia few minutes before I die. I would sell then and give the cash to someone I love or give them the asset. When I bought in, I saw the money as gone. I also bought in with 100% profit. If you bought higher, lower prices should seem like a discount or a sale. I like lower prices so I buy more when I can. Buy into weakness if you believe in the future of any investment. If you are questioning the future, do more and extensive research. Look into the sources of your doubts. If you still lack unshakable conviction, set a stop loss and stick to it or just sell and preserve capital. It’s better to do all of this before you enter any investment, not after or when price is going down. submitted by /u/IdratherBhiking1 [link] [Kommentare]
