BNB Chain welcomes ColbFinance with $60M in tokenized pre-IPO positions(reddit.com)
TL;DR for anyone who doesn’t click: Swiss tokenization platform ColbFinance has launched on BNB Chain with $60M+ in tokenized pre-IPO assets, giving users onchain exposure to private companies like SpaceX through tokenized certificates. The article argues BNB Chain was a natural fit because of its low fees, deep liquidity, and large user base, making it easier to bring traditionally exclusive assets onchain. The bigger picture is that RWAs and tokenized equities are starting to move beyond stablecoins and treasuries, and BNB Chain is becoming one of the places where that expansion is happening. submitted by /u/FTXACCOUNTANT [link] [Kommentare]
HyperFund promoter Bitcoin Rodney admits role in $1.8B crypto fraud(reddit.com)
> Except from article. Federal prosecutors said Burton participated in the operation between June 2020 and January 2022 and received at least $7.8 million from the scheme. Court documents state that Burton controlled several companies that purported to offer consulting services while helping market HyperFund to investors. Prosecutors alleged he used investor funds for personal enrichment during his involvement with the platform. Federal authorities have scheduled Burton’s sentencing for July 23. He faces a maximum prison term of five years for conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money-transmitting business. submitted by /u/zesushv [link] [Kommentare]
Pow/PoS(reddit.com)
I found a new coin recently that I aped in and it really got me thinking about a lot. When BTC first came on the scene with PoW concept, crypto bros were eager to mine it. Not necessarily because of the value potential, but because it was an interesting tech and wanted to learn…a fun hobby. Over the years as BTC grew, other models came out that were PoS etc to shift away from the labor involved, but in my opinion those have been deterrents from widespread participation and community. Mining is real work/labor and therefore there is a spiritual commitment as well as financial investment. Other proofs like PoS remove the emotional connection from you and the coin and now you only see dollars and cents. Anyway, I’ve been wanting to create a token that embraces both and restores some faith to real communities while at the same time allows for users to easily generate rewards. I found one I think is super interesting project but curious if you guys know of any coins that have a multifaceted rewards system that will actually generate long term community. Not gonna share the coin in because I don’t want you all to think I’m shilling. Genuinely trying to have a conversation about what the next potential BTC could be submitted by /u/MC_SKWAIRD [link] [Kommentare]
Coinbase migration of injective from ethereum to injective EVM(reddit.com)
So I get the email today that says coinbase will no longer support ethereum based injective after July 23rd. They say they're going to migrate everything from ethereum network to injectives native network. From what I can tell injectives native network is cosmos. It seems to be available on my ledger as cosmos injective. It has the injective address beginning INJ. So once i transfer from my Ellipal to coinbase, and coinbase is done doing the migration, I should be able to directly transfer it to my ledger as injective native using the cosmos Network? Do I have this correct? Any advice on this? submitted by /u/Spuddle-Puddle [link] [Kommentare]
Coinbase just froze my account after a 100k USDT deposit. WTF?(reddit.com)
Coinbase has decided to freeze my account and withhold $300k+ of my personal funds for absolutely NO clear reason. I’ve been using this account for 4+ years without issues, completed full verification long ago and used the platform normally the entire time. I have made more than 7figure transactions over the time with absolutely no problem at all. A few days ago, my account suddenly became restricted after depositing USDT and I was asked for additional verification, source of funds information, and documents despite already meeting the requirements for the account limits and activity levels. I wanted some funds in my bank so I swapped some XMR from my Cake wallet to USDT directly into my Coinbase address-before you ask, I have done this a dozen times- then boom, account frozen, source of funds required. What am I supposed to say the source of funds is yet I have had the monero held in my Cake wallets for years. I currently cannot withdraw or fully access my own funds while the review is ongoing. Support responses have been slow and unclear, and I’m looking for transparency and a timeline for resolution. Has anyone else dealt with something similar on Coinbase? submitted by /u/klandreneau [link] [Kommentare]

Tokenized Stocks Explained Simply(reddit.com)
A lot of people hear tokenized stocks and think it just means stocks on crypto rails. Kind of. But the important part is not the word tokenized. The important part is what the token actually represents. A tokenized stock is usually a blockchain based token designed to track or represent a real stock like Apple, Tesla, Nvidia or other public equities. Depending on the structure, it can be backed by the underlying share, issued by a third party, or built as economic exposure to the stock price. That part matters. Because not every tokenized stock gives you the same rights as holding the actual stock through a traditional broker. You need to know: Who issued it. What backs it. Where it can be traded. How redemption works. What happens with dividends. What jurisdiction it is available in. What liquidity looks like outside normal market hours. That is where this gets interesting. Traditional stocks have regular market hours. But markets do not care about your local opening bell. Earnings drop after close. Macro news hits before open. Company announcements happen while half the market is asleep. Crypto traders are already used to markets moving all day. Pre market and after market access gives traders a way to react earlier instead of waiting for the regular session to open. That can be useful. But it also comes with risk. Lower liquidity. Wider spreads. Faster moves. More fakeouts. Less forgiving order books. So the real edge is not just access. It is understanding what you are trading before you touch it. That is why I think tokenized stocks are going to matter. Not because everything should become a casino that never closes. Because real world assets are starting to move into the same environment crypto users already live in. Always online. Always liquid. Always reacting. Byrrgis will offer tokenized stock access inside a risk first trading platform, where the goal is not just to let people click faster. The goal is to make the important information easier to see before the trade. Because access without context is how people get hurt. Tokenized stocks are coming. The question is whether users will get better tools with them. submitted by /u/Icy-Aardvark-1158 [link] [Kommentare]
