Grid Battery Storage is going to eat away the miners cheap electricity(reddit.com)
Sodium batteries for electrical grid storage are now going mainstream. Historically renewable electricity generation created a 'duck curve' where prices were low / negative midday and peaked in the evening. Battery storage is obliterating the curve. By charging midday and releasing during peak, the electricity price is smoothing drastically https://shellenergy.com.au/energy-insights/how-batteries-are-changing-the-energy-duck-curve/ This means that the negative or low rates trying to balance renewable power are soon going to be a thing of the past, like within 3-4 years. submitted by /u/Tiny-Pomegranate7662 [link] [Kommentare]

Check whether yours is one of them before you get caught out submitted by /u/zetdezetylj [link] [Kommentare]
Crypto Clarity Act may not be signed into law this year. What could this mean for the crypto industry?(reddit.com)
Recent reports suggest the Crypto Clarity Act is no longer expected to be signed into law this year. While this could delay regulatory clarity in the U.S., I don't think it necessarily changes the long-term direction of crypto. Institutional adoption, blockchain development, and global regulation continue to move forward, but clearer U.S. legislation could still influence investor confidence and business decisions. Do you think this delay will have a meaningful impact on the market, or is it just another short-term headline? submitted by /u/Mission-Stomach-3751 [link] [Kommentare]
Bitcoin is officially worse than even the S&P 500 on the 5-year scale now. What's the point in holding this? It's not a currency either: having failed at being a cheap medium of exchange, it was never a unit of account,(reddit.com)
https://preview.redd.it/iuw6qih5jhah1.png?width=1835&format=png&auto=webp&s=94d89462736e16571da98f661954c1e031f3e5f1 I still have hope for stablecoins. But not as an investment, as digital currency. But in the topic of Bitcoin: is there any thesis left where this coin becomes relevant ever again? What can Bitcoin offer over others? Besides the hope for a future rug pull? submitted by /u/User4f52 [link] [Kommentare]
I just spent 5 hours trying to withdraw my own funds from Binance. This is least usable, most horrible service I ever used.(reddit.com)
https://preview.redd.it/kfv6bb9klhah1.png?width=531&format=png&auto=webp&s=7cf543d57c26617dac7f703c212101c05367b172 I tried to withdraw USDT using the Binance desktop website. I filled withdrawal form, hit "Withdraw" and nothing happened. After waiting a few minutes, I opened the browser console and saw it was flooded with 403 errors. I refreshed the page and realized I'd been logged out. I tried to login again and Binance required me to pass face scan verification. Once I got back in, I filled out the form again and clicked "Withdraw" - same result. Nothing happened, the console filled with 403 errors again, and refreshing the page logged me out a second time. On my next login attempt, Binance demanded me to set up a passkey on my phone. I did it, but it still wouldn't let me in, showing the exact same error message about the passkey. I messaged customer support. The AI bot was useless, giving me a ton of unrelated answers to problems I didn't have. I managed to get through to a human agent, but then customer support chatbox started glitching. My messages wouldn't send, and after 10–20 seconds, "Retry" and "Delete" buttons would pop up. I eventually figured out that if I spammed the "Retry" button 20 to 30 times, the message would finally go through. I used this trick to tell the agent that their chat was broken and asked if we could move to email. The agent just told me they don't have a support email, and this broken chat is my only option. How is this even possible to create such unusable service? submitted by /u/Aggravating_Dish_824 [link] [Kommentare]
UAE-Based Goldman Lampe Private Bank Acquires $137 Million In Bitcoin(reddit.com)
> Article except. Goldman Lampe Private Bank has purchased €120 million (roughly $137 million) worth of Bitcoin, the UAE-based institution announced Monday, timing the buy to coincide with a recent pullback in cryptocurrency markets. The Ras al Khaimah-headquartered bank said the acquisition strengthens its institutional Bitcoin holdings and reflects its conviction in digital assets as a long-term store of value. The move positions Goldman Lampe as one of the more aggressive institutional buyers to act on the current market downturn. submitted by /u/zesushv [link] [Kommentare]
Day 2 of feeding Saylor shitcoins until he visibly explodes(reddit.com)
Subject remains stable despite sustained exposure to elevated shitcoin doses. Vitals: orange-pilled, unbothered, possibly immune. Increasing dosage tomorrow per peer review (yesterday’s PEPE injection showed promising early results). Top voted comment gets added tomorrow. Yesterday’s winner was PEPE. And remember, boys. Science requires sacrifice. submitted by /u/GrannyRocketeer [link] [Kommentare]
