Where are the people that called the top?(reddit.com)

I keep seeing KOLs post screenshots months later showing how they called the top back in October. Good for them, I guess. But where do those people go during bear markets? Are they just sitting in cash this whole time? Or moving into stocks? Trading both side? Or just disappear for a year or two and come back later? It's so hard to flip that switch consistently.
